Our Refund and Return Policy

First and foremost, please contact us directly if you would like to return an item and we will be happy to work with you and come to a resolution as quickly as possible. Please DO NOT contact the manufacturer for returns or refunds.

Customer service is our top priority and we want you to have the best experience possible. We will always try to make things simple for our customers and have open communication throughout the process. Again, you must contact us in order to begin the a return process because we do have several suppliers and their return/refund policies differ slightly.

Once you get in contact with us, we will outline the steps that need to be taken.

As a basic rule of thumb, you will be asked to state and explain why you wish to return the product and potentially provide evidence of any damage or malfunction(s) where applicable. To be eligible for a return, items must always be in their original packaging and in the same condition that it was received. Item(s) must also be accompanied by a proof of purchase or receipt.

There are a few common reasons that are considered non-refundable, i.e. you did not like the product, product arrived but arrived late, product was found elsewhere for less, or the item was damaged during operation.

Regardless of the reason for concern, initial contact must occur within 12 days of receiving the item (disputes must be filed with a supplier within 15 days of delivery so that gives us time to reach the supplier). Gift cards are always considered a non-refundable purchase.

Refunds (if applicable and approved)

Once your return is received and inspected, we are typically contact by the supplier within 5-10 business days. We will then contact you, via email, to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of refund. As long as all information was provided accurately, it is very rare that a refund is rejected, but we will communicate the reasoning if that were to occur.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days (typically less than 15 business days but could be longer based on the payment method used).


Sale items (if applicable)

If an item is purchased while on sale or purchased using a discount code or coupon, the item cannot be returned. Unfortunately suppliers that have refund policies in place only allow a refund of regular-priced items. If you are unhappy and wish to open a dispute, please reach out to our customer service sales team and we will do our best to reach a solution.


Multiple Item Returns

If multiple items are purchased on a single order, only 1 item can be returned unless multiple items are received damaged or the items are not delivered. We want to do everything we can to help so please contact us immediately to discuss this type of situation. Again, our main goal is to make sure you are happy with your purchase and continue to do business with us in the future.

Warranties

The product manufacturers typically offer warranties on their products. This should be outlined in the paperwork that comes with the purchased item. Meteor Drone DOES NOT offer warranties on products since we are not the original manufacturers. If a warranty issues arises, this is one instance that you would contact the manufacturer directly. Feel free to alert us when a warranty issue arises and you have contacted the manufacturer because we always like to hear from our customers.


Below you will find guidelines of what to expect for available return processes, when applicable. Again, you please contact us directly within 12 days of item delivery to be sure of the availability of a return process. The below policies may or may not be available for the given product.

1) Buyer Protection (Typically 25, 50, or 75-Day)

This is a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE type of policy. When this is offered, we promise your money back if the item you received is not as described, or if your item is not delivered within the Supplier’s Buyer Protection period. In the case of the item not being as described, you must explain what you were expecting versus what you received. You can get a refund 15 days after the claim/dispute process finishes. Again, you MUST contact us directly first to see if this is an available option. The initial contact MUST occur within 12 days of delivery because the Buyer Protection period begins when the order is initially placed.

2) Free Return Service

If a ‘Free Return’ service is available, you will have 15 days (on top of the on-time delivery date) to decide if you want to keep or return the item for any reason. It is totally free.
It is free for you to return the parcel under Free Return service. However please kindly note that you are able to only enjoy one-time free local return for one order. If you initiate multiple return requests under an order, you could only enjoy the free local return service once, and other return requests can still enjoy local return service but you will have to cover the return shipping costs to the designated local return address.

As long as the item is returned in new condition, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a proof of purchase, a full refund will be applied when available as long as initial contact is made within 12 days of delivery.

A refund will be given once the supplier has received the package and confirmed that the conditions for reimbursement have been met. The sooner you return the item(s), the sooner you will get a refund.
Exchanges cannot be made under the a Free Return policy. However, you may place a new order before or after receiving a refund, since the return order and the new order are independent processes.
